Hello everyone,
I was wondering if anyone knows where I could get a FREE computer without the need of referals, (I don't know anyone lol) and no offers required for completion? It's really annoying me because I can't download anything without my computer freezing, performing illegal operations and many other things!
It's also REALLY annoying me as I want to make a FULL RPG without having to delete it and RPG Maker just to make space on my computer! Any ideas...? :'(
P...L...E...A...S...E...H...E...L...P
:'( :'( :'( :'(
free computer! lol! even on the internet you wont.
Urm, there are these contests like-buy the candy, and if your lucky u get a limozine and all.
But that i dont think happens, so why dont u save whatever money u get (if you get) or start trying to get money by doing small works (like me :) i got 500 and got myself a kewl watch witch i wanted since long)
and try deleting
other useless stuff like games
and other type of stuff
That's my point. I don't have any games or anything on my computer. I can't! :'(
if you dont have anything whats taking up so much space? :(
My hard drive max capacity is 5.94G... :'(
Use windows XP. That'll sove the stability issues.
You DO have extra baggage if you don't have room for RPG Maker and it's associated files on a nearly 6GB drive.
I'm desperate!
u dont get free stuff, yuo got to pay for it!
get xp, get something good.
Go, be brave say-
"Mom, get me xp!"
cuz 6 gb or so stinks
Go contacting companies. Ask if they are changing any computers and ask if you could get one of the old ones for educational purposes.
I got a computer that way once.
You've provided almost no info about your computer, save the hard drive space. What's your processor speed and RAM? You could potentially just get a new hard drive on Newegg (you can get a really decent sized one for under $100), but if your processor sucks, you might as well just get a new one.
if you're short on space you could just ask around for another harddrive.... I have like 6 just lying around although most of them are less then 10 gig. If you can find one just put the second one in as a slave. But I seriously doubt your major problem is storage...
Ask your local nerd herd if they have an extra copy of XP or Ubuntu lying around
also ask them about speeding up your computer...
It's beyond upgrading. I'd rather get a new one.
Gosh picky Well whatever... save your money then
are you old enough to get a job? If you're not I would sugest you start a lawn mowing business/lemonade stand
dells are going for real cheap now... they're like the wallmart of desktop computers
There is a boeing plant near my house... they're always giving away their old computers. Heck my school is full of Dells from boeing. Just do what Zeriab said.
Eh, just go for a 2nd or 3rd hand machine from somebody.
You can pick up perfectly good PCs for so little now. The plateau of efficient computer usage for things like music, video documents and the internet was reached in like 2002, the only need for a more powerful PC is for gaming.
You coud get a fine PC for like $100 ?_?
Where?
And for those who are interested, here my details...
5.94GB
128M RAM
366Mhz
No Graphics card
Obviously you can't get a new computer for absolutely free (can't you?!) but does anyone know where I can get one relitively cheap then ::)
Ebay?
Go for a 1Ghz+, 512Mb ram+, maybe a geforce 4+ PC. It shouldn't be much at all. Only from personal experience I don't trust 2nd hand hard drives, though you should be able to find one cheap :/
I've looked on eBay for about a year and the prices are out of my price range.
Hmmm...What about quick money schemes? ;D
How old are you :/
I'm 46
Somehow I doubt that.
Believe me, it's true! Born on 8th May 1960
so ur big and have a job so u can actually save money, i thought ur a kid, so save money or pay for it with ur salary
whats ur job?
I can't work because of health reasons. I'm on a disability pension that gives me hardly any money, and once bills etc have been paid, well...
Office Depot?
I have freezing problems wit my comp, maybe Amazon has a cheap comp ill go look sometime.
If you have freezing problems then format :/ your PC is good enough to run XP. All you'd really need is a new or 2nd hand hard drive.
With so many people wanting to get rid of their >=40GB drives nowadays you shouldn't have much trouble ~
AlwaysIdeas
change ur username lol
u d dont got any ideas!
Man! ur a working guy! U get a salary, you should save, u even got a mobile phone and a bank account!
Holy hell! A 366 MHz processor?!
You need a new computer, stat. Check out Dell, they usually have really good starting PCs. What were you looking for in terms of price.

That one was better, but you're still lacking a bit.
That one was actually a vast improvement. Though I agree with Zypher, that was very good.
Wtf are you guys talking about? Keep all this in spam limits, not out of spam.
