I'm Sure many of you have heard about the OLPC (one laptop per child) project. What do you gents think about it? Personally I really like the idea of everyone having an educational laptop, especially in developing countries.

Some of those look pretty neat, almost like an overgrown handheld console.
It's kind of weird though, should getting people in developing / 3rd world countries laptops really be top priority?

Well it's not just for the developing countries... It's ment for all children of all countries... but recently it seems as though that they focus mainly on the 3rd world countries

Its a good concept. Like everything its still needs some tweaks though. Who the hell thought of the bright orange paint?? The newer laptops are really coming a long way though.
