Well, in the times of road rash type games, prince of persia was spose to be the best ever!
That platformer with bad graphics used to be the greatest
My bro had got it like 10 years ago or so, and then we thought it was good.
THough i was like 2 that time o.o
but then came a new era
POP 3d, which wasnt good, it was like the house of the dead 1 graphics.
But then Sands of time brought a whole new level
I got Sands of time and we cant ever think that this is the sequel of the (one of the old time) all famous bad graphical POP 1 and 2
I mean, yuo can run along walls, run up them, climb bars, and the fighting combo we can make. the styles, the power of time its all sooo different
So i know thats not exactly a great thing except maybe a boring lecture
But this gives us an idea
Discuss bout prince of persia and game evolutions
I like the classics better. That there was some truely challenging games.
I have not played the original PoP, but Sands of Time was incredible... did you eveer wonder how the creator might have come up with the idea? It's so original. There are hardly any games that take place in real settings.
I liked the games, even if I'm not into those kind. My cousin had them, so I watched him play. I liked the games and found them to be good. It was, like Yossy said, original =D
He had The two thrones, warrior within and the sands of time so i've seen him beat all three.
Oh, there are three besides the original? Wow, I thought there were only two. I've only been introduced to the game just recently, so... :P to me
There are two that I would consider the "classics," there is Prince of Persia 3D, and then there are the 3 most recent titles by Ubisoft. There are also 2 handheld Prince of Persia titles that I just found out about, probably made in attempt to capitalize on the newfound(?) popularity of Prince of Persia.
So, it would seem, there are actually 8 PoP games.
Ill tell
POP 1
POP 2
POP 3d
POP Warrior within
POP sands of timeI GOT
POP two thrones
And yeah, its wonderful how the creator came up of something which may happen, and such things like running along walla are done by a prince
And its a little related to my country
So it makes it all the better :)
I like how his name is just "the Prince." It leaves some of the imagination portion up to the player.
But, playing Sands of Time for the first time (which was about two weeks ago :P ), it took me forever to realize that he didn't have a name.
Names, much like speaking, is overrated. The best heroes have no name and never talk.
I totally concur. However, it seems that characters who never talk eventually get themselves into deeper trouble than the characters who do. This is probably because they are accompanied by a loudmouth who says all the wrong things at all the wrong times, leading the silent main character into oh-so-many perils.
LOLOLOLZZLOLZ Golden Sun.
Wat a coinsedence Yossy, i got it 2 weeks ago to, or rather 1 week maybe
Till where have u reached?
Im busy fighting my own father in it :)
Uh, I beat it within the first week. :o
I beat most games within a week...It kinda sucks.
Lolz, I beat PoP SoT in 2 days. (Straight, so it took about 48 hours of straight play)
...creeeeeeeeepy?
No, I'm just really good at those types of games.
