I want it to be this way in some forests in my game... I don't know if this can be done with events, or if it needs scripting?
And while I'm at it, what colors is good to tint to to create a "realistic" night mood?
Try to find a script here. It is called "Fog of war". You need to register altough.

For the night mood I use (-80,-80,0,80). I tried many combinations, but this is the best, coz you can still see the screen very good. Take a look at this SS here (http://img340.imageshack.us/img340/6732/ss8ep.png).
I added fog (100, Add) altough, so it looks a bit different.

Yeah, I made that screenshot in Photoshop to demonstrate what I wanted.... :-)
