Title: Cracking Encrypted Data
Post by: kaemin on April 10, 2006, 02:00:28 AM
Well... funny story really. I wanted to practice RGSS (I had no idea of what I was doing), so I opened up the script editor, and made a new page. At least, I thought I did. Turns out that I had erased the entire Title_Screen script. Anyway, then a bunch of other stuff happned which I really don't have the time to say right now, and I ended up erasing the "Scripts" file. Luckily, I had everything prior to my little incident posted on the internet... but it's data was encrypted by the option (I'm on RPG Maker XP: Postality Knights). Now, I have the data, but I dont know how to get into it... anyone have any ideas? And no, I'm not lying so I can steal peoples data... >.>

Make a new project and go into the "Data" folder, Just copy the file "Scripts.rxdata" into the Data folder fo your old project. next time before you script, remember to make a backup of the Scripts.rxdata in your project folder, lol.
