Hi!
Anyone knows how can I, using music from wma and mp3, can make the files smaller?
They make the final file heavier, but I don't want to stick using the default annouying music. Anyone has a solution? :|
Find someone, who can change them to .mid (MIDI).
(Maybe even convert them? :-o)
Converting them would take a long time. :|
What's so annoying about MIDI anyway? Other than using wma or mp3, that's all that's left besides ogg, which is actually smaller than mp3 isn't it? I'm not too familiar with ogg files so I don't know.
I do know there definately isn't a script for this though. *moves topic*
I think .ogg will be the best alternative then. o.gg on 32kbps is nearly the same quality as mp3 on 128kbps, but it
I know from experience that .oggs are just as big as MP3's and WAVE's..
Wav files are 16 megs for every 60 seconds of quality sound oggs can't be run by Windows Media Player, Real Time, or Quick Time last I checked. Just stay with the mp3s, they aren't that bad.
3 minutes .wav -> ~30MB
3 minutes .mp3 128kbps -> ~3MB
3 minutes .ogg 32kobps - > ~0,75MB
3 minutes .mid -> erm... 3kB?
I've seen 8 MB 2 minute mp3s and 2 MB 6 minute mp3s. It all depends on the quality =/
kbps = kilobits per second = quality
Use Squalls PSF script and see if you can rip mp3s to psfs somehow.
