Simple... Make a switch!

Make another page in the event and use the switch operator.

So you have a auto start event for example with a message.

Like this

@Message: Hey, my autostart works!

add this

@Switch: 001: <name>

and use the same switch on the left side of ur event menu on the 2nd page.

Then you won't have the problem agian :).

Let it be ON, if the autostart should work (something like: Autostart ON) and OFF if not. On the left side of the event window you have PRECONDITIONS. Just set this switch to be a precondition for your autostart event.

When you start the game, you will have an intro, right? Add into the intro a switch and turn it ON. Now make in your event this switch as a precondition and as the last command add the OFF turning of this switch. The switch disables itself after being used once this way. A good way, not to get lost in your switches is to name them. When you have a hundred or two, you won

You can also set a Local Switch A = On when the event is done, then make a second even page with the condition Local Swith A and leaving the rest empty

Yeah, this is also a solution, but I prefer mine, coz I can manipulate events with other events that way more easily. Too many local switches would confuse me too much, but by using regular switches, I have a good overview.

When I choose whether I'll use a normal or a local switch I judge how important the event is.

Remember that local switches are not encapsulated. Don't know what that means? Forget it.
