i place a new object from the list on the left on RPG maker XP and it seems to leave a white background to them..... how do i make it so it blends in with the rest on my template for the game?

If it does that are you on the first layer when you place the object?
If so go to the second layer.

theres 4 layers on the top.

the first,secend and third layer are for placing objects

the fourth is to add an event.
