OK, so in Sunday School we were looking at the ten plagues, and since im making a new game soon i needed a new idea. and it hit me.
The game will consist of a village, and 10 dungeons. You are a dragoon, a Knight of the Sky. The king of whatever kingdom you are in sent you on a mission to recover an ancient crystal that would grant the king endless power.
You retrieve it, but on the way back to the kingdom you are ambushed by seemingly demonic enemies. Your dragon is killed, and its spirit is locked away in the crystal. You black out. Whne you awaken, you are near a river, and it is raining. Your armor went from pure white to blood red, and nearby is a village. Looming over the village is an evil, dead, stripped mountain. Little do you know, there lies an insidious power, and the crystal.
Stereotypical, right? wrong. the story doesnt end there. After a few days of living at the village, strange things start to happen. The days are gloomy, an evil presense is everywhere, and the usual wildlife is replaced by crows, rats, and other manner of evil beings.
It gets stranger. One day, the rain turns red. The village's water turns to blood. basically, the first plague. The powers wish you dead as to tnot interfere with their plan. The first dungeon is the Blood DUngeon, where you must defeat the first power. Each time yo udefeat one, the next, mor epowerful plague comes to bear on the village. Each time you must venture into its lair and defeat it.
That would be the bulk of the game. I cant give away the ending though. I can say though, that each time yo udefeat a plague your armor becomes purer.
I havent thought up a title or character names yet, although because it will feature an ABS (action battle system) only the dragoon will be playable.

the story dosen't seem so bad but i think i've heard of something to do with crystals or a crytal,a scatter time before,other than that,i like it!

sounds interesting...just make sure not to make the dungeons boring and just keep on dragging and dragginng...i hate dungeons like those....i like dungeons where its fun to be in...lol....and i may i ask a question>????
will there be any events or activities outside the dungeons and stuff....cuz i don't wanna be playing a game where you're in a dungeon most of the time lol

like...? well, yeah, but the word dungeon is used figurtivley. for instance, the plague of wild animals will be hunting down beasts that are taking villagers during the night. Also, the locusts plague will be going through a forest infested with giant, man-eating locusts and killing the queen so that the villagers dont starve. See what i mean? blood is going to be a cave, but death will be somewhere in limbo. you'll have to retrieve the souls of all the dead first born of the village, it will be cool if i can get everything right
I like it, it sounds much better then mine, on cause i make up stuff as i move along in the game, so it gets confusing, but really good game :D :D

At the start of the game the dragoon hateful and only loyal to the king but as he goes through the dungeons he slowly comes to realize that the king is evil and at the end ends up fighting the king or fighting something thats controlling him and then becomes king himself and brings peace to the universe.
Good suggestion or too predictable? its up to you

i would tell you all the next awesome thing about the story, but it would definatley ruin it for everybody. as a hint, has anybody ever played Links Awakening for the GBC?

on a spamtastic note, that yo ushouldnt follow my example by, that and minish cap are the only zeldas ive beaten fully. ALttP is close tho, im at the last crystal. then, gannon. I thougth ALttP was one of the best, aside from OoT
links awakening was easy to beat,the final boss was a wuss,espically with the boomerang! :D i've also beaten Alttp,oot and MM,along with both ages and seasons :oops: i like the zelda series,even though most of it has to deal with going through puzzles and such :x

damnit, if noody is going to help im going to cancel this project. i dont want to, but i need original everything, as previously stated, and I cant do everything. if you want this game to be a reality, come and join the team and make it happen
