Ok now I make my games on the XP version. Now I notice you can only use 50 switches in each game..... How can I make there be able to have more switches. The game I'm making will need about 300 switches.

In the switch menu, click array size and bring it up to 300.

bring it to 5000 instead just for the fun of getting lost in the list :P
same with variables btw (5k being the max)

You could also use Local Switches if you want only one event effected by a switch.
It prevents mass confusion when you end up using a lot of switches. (I know from experience)

it only effects one event? well now oyu tell me before I test...*goes off grumbling and changing 50 events all running off of 'local switch B'*

name your switches apropriately:

what they do (map they are used in)

eg: pig quest complete(map1)

Local switches affect as much as you want, but only on that map.

I don't know why people get confused with it. Seems preety simple.

so simple you just got confused in it too ?
local switches don't affect the whole map they only affect the very same event!

i guess now you know why people get confused inaru ;)

I should get around to testing it. Local does sound like a distance thing. It's kidda misleading.
