Title: Using multiple parts for making main character sprite
Post by: Blazer-X on December 16, 2005, 08:36:08 PM
I need to know how to use multiple part of the charset to make the main character for RPG2003...

To be more specific, my character's charset sprite is 3 time the width of the dimension that I'm suppose to use... and I can't exactly make it smaller without making it look like crap...

The main problem is that while I can easily do this by a use of events when I make NPC sprites, I have no clue how to do the same thing on a main character since I'll need it to be controllable by the player.

Sorry for the double post... but its been a while...

Anyways, I thought of another solution, but problem arrised again. I could use the battle animation to replace the charset. Only problem is, I could only make it for 1 character in the party because I dunno how to make a trigger that would make it for another character in party have a different battle animation.

If I could make it so different character can have different battle animation for their charset, then I'm all set...

Umm, you can have any dimension you want, as long as the width of the chara set is divisible by 3 and the height is divisible by 4.

This is RPG 2003 I'm talking about, not XP.
