I really hated it when I was making door ways and the doors always seemed out of place or something. The walls just look incomplete. Well I decided that I am going to make some edits and post them here as I make them. So far I only have one, but soon more will follow.
I use Modern Algebra's Fix Picture to Map script to keep the picture in place.

Oh, sweet! :D I thought about doing something like this once, but totally forgot. I think you can also use it in a tileset, if you mark it with a star. :B

I am sure you could. I think it uses 3 grids if you want to align it properly. I've never made my own tiles before though so I am just going to use them as pictures. I guess this would technically be my first tile( or tiles since it uses 3 grids ) I have ever made.
Well, it looks pretty good! :) I definitely think its a nice add-on. The doorway spaces always drove me bonkers! B(
