I'm a student pastor. I preached at my church. You can watch here (http://vimeo.com/95911980).
Huzah! :drsword:
So well spoken and confident! If there's two things I appreciated about my pastors when I was at school it was their enthusiasm and anecdotes. It made christianity feel like something that could actually be a part of people's lives, not just something we all learnt about and were told to believe in. Good.
As a brief selfish aside: hearing an American say the name Tim sounds so darn weird to me you wouldn't even believe.
Tim?
Teem?
Tam?
How do you say it Pac?
And thanks for the compliment.
:julesapproved:
I don't know, man. The way I hear Australians say it sounds like Tim to me, and Americans sound like Tem to me.
It's like, I imagine Americans put emphasis on the o in Ronald (in my head it sounds like Rah-nld), but I would put more weight on the r. I don't know. Language. It's weird.
hmmm...
"rahnold"
"tihm"
Look, if you want to know how an Australian would say your name, just get yourself in the right mindset by saying g'day before it. Never fails.
g'day tihm
How often do you actually use the phrase g'day???
Probably around a dozen times a day. It's more fun to say than hello, it's more appropriately Austrian, and it lets people know I'm a cool guy it's okay to party with.

"We are all sinners, especially this guy standing at the podium."
who changed every instance of back to black in graces thread :V
Is abusing my mod powers a sin?
Ok, well, maybe...
You're a really good public speaker. Though I guess you'd probably have to be to do what you do. :V
Thanks Aco!
I try to at least not be boring!
