Heya everyone! Wanted to pop back on while I could and apologize for being away for so long. I know I have my occasional "leave of absence" periods now and then when life gets rough, but I've never had it this long before without any sort of warning or anything.
The long story short is that things have been getting very stressful and tiring lately. Work has been much heavier lately for us (both literally and not) ever since a new manager came in in February, and while it's not as bad as it could be in other positions, it's leaving me dead tired every day to the point of feeling like a 25 year old guy with a 60 year old body. On the bright side at least, I'm making a fair chunk of money and feel like I'm climbing the right ladders to higher positions even without a degree, since I'm making a very good impression on the right people for what I do.
Combine all this with the fact that Zeich and I went into crunch time for needing a new apartment, due to an emergency situation causing us to lose our third roommate. It's been a major worry for me for ages, as we never intended to move out again after only a single year, so you can imagine the stress levels that have been building up. Mercifully, we have found a new place that's reasonably affordable and is much closer to my job (which is helpful as I have to walk to work every day), and we'll be moving in next week. I still worry a lot about it, since if Zeich loses his job again like he did last year, I'm going to be just barely able to make ends meet covering it solo, but I imagine I'll settle down a bit more once we're at least moved in.
I haven't been able to do much anything lately except eat, sleep, sleep a lot more, clean/prepare apartment for the move, and the occasional Terraria with Zeich, and am way behind with every personal project I had hoped to have finished for ages like the GIAW's and side stuff. So, want to say sorry to everyone who has been waiting for me to finish Ex-Somnium and those contest archives and such.
So yeah. Haven't forgotten ya'll! I'll try to be around more often if I can, and you guys are always welcome to pester me on Skype or whatnot if you have that info. ^^
P.S. - Good lord, I have craploads of posts to catch up on. What all did I miss that's noteworthy? ._.
P.S.S - Also, got the new Humble Bundle because it's awesome for game creators like us. To celebrate being legal, anyone want a free copy of "To The Moon"?
