Title: Creating an Interactive Map
Post by: bluntsword on January 07, 2014, 06:48:42 PM
Ok guys,

been doing some google searching and coming up short.

I'm looking to see how I might be able to create an interactive map for a website.

Nothing extremely fancy, but along the lines of

"I click this city name and a box pops up with additional info."
"I click this country name and the flag for it comes up within a box with additional info."

Anyone willing to point me in the right direction?

Think this (http://quillings.com/fiction/the-winds-of-khalakovo/the-lays-of-anuskaya-interactive-map/), but without the zooming in and out and such.

(fixed your link)

At first I was assuming you meant you wanted something based on the real world, in which case 90%+ of sites use the google maps API.

Looking through the javascript used, it seems like it was made using this: http://tumult.com/hype/
