Oh hey, it's time again for us to put up another of these threads in the hopes of getting our members to confess their secret wishes and dirty desires for the holidays. What hidden wants and wishes have you been thinking about adding to your wishlists this year? I know it's been a rough year for a lot of us, problems with jobs and families and relationships and whatnot, so let's hope that the end of the year marks the beginning of a better one than last and starts off with at least one nice thing from your lists!
As always, you can list off as many or as few things as you like, whether big, small, physical, immaterial, simple, complex, whatever comes to mind. Plus, you never know, you might inspire a good gift idea for someone's secret santa endeavors.

most expensive vcr ever
I just recently got a Genesis, so I'd like to get some game for that thing.
World peace. ;8
Actually, I'd love a copy of Rocksmith 2014. I hear the "jam band" feature alone is worth it.
I'd like to get this IT job with an Anhueser Busch Distributor
an airbag to spring conversion kit for the lincoln and the lincoln to fucking start again. pile of luxury shit.
Some nice makeup brushes would be useful.
Also, these tights (http://www.storenvy.com/products/3290892-cat-pattern-tights). They're so fancy. ;o;
Adding to my wishlist: Paint brushes, acrylic paints, a bento box, tea samplers, and a heat gun.
Anski, my friend got a 7870 GHz edition for around $120 just recently. I'll ask him where he got it, and if it's still available I'll let you know.
Well, mostly just his Behringer Foot control board (http://www.musiciansfriend.com/keyboards-midi/behringer-fcb1010-midi-footcontroller) so I can make better use of guitar rig. But more than that I'd like a good combo amp. Thing is, all the ones I'd want to purchase at this point are like $700, or I don't think the investment would be worth it.

Yeah, I want this too! The original is pretty fun even as an already good guitarist. (There were still plenty of songs that worry difficult, anyway.) If I buy anything with my/any christmas money I get, it'll probably be this.

Ugh that would be awesome, considering I have to buy this myself.

I hear good things about it all the time, I would've bought it during the steam sale but it doesn't come with the cable B(
For me I'd like to get a Fender Strat.
I'll probably just get that with my tax return though and try to get a PS4 for christmas
Way of the Samurai 2 for the PS2
Steambot Chronicles for the PS2
Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind GOTY for Xbox
Dragon Quest Slime Controller
And this: http://www.amazon.com/Assassins-Connor-Conner-Costume-Men-Medium/dp/B00EMPJH4Y/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1386220801&sr=8-2&keywords=assassins+creed+hoodie

Also, why would you ever get Morrowind for Xbox? Mods MAKE that game, and you're going to miss out on all of them...
A new chair.

Played it for years on xbox, it was fine. Put in loads of hours on PC as well with and without mods. mods are are like little decorative flowers on an other wise great cake with delicious frosting.
TL;DR: Don't talk such rot, outlander.
You're so wrong I'm not even going to bother explaining why, because I feel you wouldn't be capable of understanding.

This is not the Christmas spirit. :(
the true christmas spirit is the lord god jesus christ i want to talk to you about jesus ma'am good lord
@Moss: 3 reasons why I play it on the Xbox rather than PC:
1.) I like a bit of difficulty, and since the Xbox doesn't have the console command option, which alot of people use, it gives a sense of difficulty.
2.) I know how to create the humanoid possession spell, and I always create an arena out of Rotheran for fun. Memories.
3.) Yes, I know there are mods for the PC version, but unlike alot of people, I still have a Windows XP laptop. I never upgraded because 7 and 8 are obnoxious. So having the best mods on this PC would crash it, making me unable to chat with you fine, wonderful peeps.
oh my god what? nobody is putting a gun to your head and demanding that you use console commands.
You don't know man, it's like a drug. It's so hard to say no. I have yet been able to play a full game of any of the elder scrolls on PC without using the console commands.

fuck off man, you're basically telling me that Vanilla Morrowind is a bad game, It's not. it's DATED sure but not bad.
You're joking, right? You must be. There's no way you could possibly, actually think that's what I was "basically" saying.

you kind of need to to fix broken quests and shit last I played Oblivion. Or maybe the fan patches fixed those.
I use console commands in New vegas if/when I get stuck in the terrain, or if I want to get a cool screenshot. I mean, I would hate playing the game without console commands, but not because I cheat. I think I have a few mods that make the game harder.
The only mods I ever use are ones that replace textures, character models, weapon models, terrain, skies, etc, or just straight up add content like new cities, quests, dungeons, houses, landmasses, companions, weapons, spells, etc as long as they don't break the difficulty of the game. Sometimes I'll use gameplay changing mods if they're good, like ones that add balance to unbalanced situations, or (in Morrowind's case) improve the leveling system to make it more like Skyrim. Did you know that a mod to make Morrowind's leveling system more like Skyrim's existing before Skyrim did? Also, you know how Skyrim NPCs have schedules? How they go to work, and then go home and lock their doors at night? Morrowind didn't do that, of course, but a mod made it possible (again, before Skyrim or even Oblivion was released). There's mods that overhaul UIs and companion systems, too.
It's not about cheating, and it's not about making a "bad" game "good," it's about making an amazing game even better, even larger, and even more immersive.
So I guess this is an Elder Scrolls thread, now. My bad.
??All I want for Christmas is an Elder Scroll, an Elder Scroll, an Elder Scroll.??
I just want some books to read. Definitely been on a reading kick here recently.
Perhaps we can all chip in and buy bluntsword a library card for Christmas ;P
I can't think of a single thing I want this year. I've tried. My kids have asked and so has hubby. I'm scrooge this year. BAH HUMBUG! Actually not really cause I still enjoy giving gifts and am excited for people to get them. I just can't think of a single thing I want lol

Jules got jokes!
:p
I've got a few books checked ii currently from San Antonio's freakin awesome library!
But I like owning too. I can speed through a kindle book much faster than say a physical copy, though I like the physical copy better.
If I were to go with personal items that I want just for myself, there'd be several small things I'd like simply because I know I'll never actually get them on my own anytime soon. Small things like those paw socks (http://fc03.deviantart.net/fs70/f/2011/071/3/8/sock_paws_by_labradorpup2001-d3bgdkb.jpg) I always hope for every Christmas instead of Mom's crappy clothes, Kyell Gold books like the Prisoner's Release or Volle, the new Ace Attorney game Dual Destinies, Bad Dragon dildos, a nice complete collection of Agatha Christie books, or new Zylos porn. Things I don't expect to get from home and will likely have to get on my own time some day.
But then there's also stuff I know I could need regardless of how much I'd care for them. Useful things like less thought of kitchen supplies (blenders, electric mixers, electric can openers, etc), good new pair of boots for work, help with rent money or even just assortments of box dinners to help grocery bills. I've gotten pretty good at cooking decent dinners that Zeich absolutely loves, but it helps to have more variety than just cheap stuff when we're low on budget, I suppose.
The thing I want most for Christmas though is, as stupidly corny as it may sound, just to be with my boyfriend. Things have been up and down for us since moving out, lots of life and work stress getting to us, but what I want most of all for the new year is just him.
That plus Zylos porn. Think I'm kidding? :zwink:
The same thing I want every christmas. Chocolates!
I'm really not picky this year. o.o
*Clothes.
*Anything that has to do with Astrology or Tarot (such as books or card decks) - or even oracle cards. I'm even up for trying out new things that have to do with fortune telling or mysticism. I just find that stuff to be really interesting. :V
*A new yoga ball maybe. :V
*Stuff to decorate my walls with (I painted my walls violet a year or two ago and I still haven't gotten anything for the walls ;_;).
*Video games that look interesting
*Maybe artsy stuff (so I can try out painting or something I dunno lol).
*Etc.
I like stuff, I guess. :V
So Anski, my friend bought his 7870 from Newegg on closeout. Not sure if you'd still be able to find one at that price, and I'm not sure if he did without a coupon either. He has like a preternatural ability to find shit at super cheap prices. I hope you're able to find one anyhow!
Also I think what I want most is regular sleeping and eating patterns; my semester ends like five days before christmas, so that's kind of gift enough for me.
What I'd like is some genesis games. I got my first Genesis a few weeks ago, but I only have Sonic The hedgehog (first one) and two shit games (James "Buster" Douglas boxing and Ferrari grand prix challange) I don't even like boxing or racing games. I got em because I need something to test the genesis and they were only a $1 each, meh.
I need more stuffed animals.
And colorful socks. It's impossible to feel sad whilst wearing colorful socks.
I dunno, I'm into so many different things... models, drawing, guitar, cooking... and of course video games. I think it would be silly to want a PS4 untill next year when they drop the price, and I still have a few games I want to finish before I do the next iteration of them.
I did see a set of art pencils that caught my eye, though. It came in a soft case and had like, 10 pencils, a white eraser and a point blender. Love me a good blender.

I'm waiting for Newegg to get more stock, and if they don't I'll just get an MSI R9.
Either way, what I could actually want besides
oddly shaped and pronged dildos is comic trade books, like from here. (http://www.instocktrades.com/search/New%2052) Fuck Marvel, Batman & Friends for lyfe.
Hmm,
I'm getting into some old school fantasy books like I used to read. Dragon Lance, Forgotten Realms, and the like.
I just finished Moth (http://www.danielarenson.com/WorldOfMoth.aspx). A pretty good read actually. The second one (http://www.danielarenson.com/MothII.aspx) comes out Dec 12th.
That'd be cool.
The guy who wrote it has a pretty big list of books under his belt for being an indie writer.
Actually, since my parents are asking me what I want, I might tell them to get me a Shure SM58. I don't even have any microphones, and that seems wrong, so I might as well start with something versatile.
....black scrying mirror, new mortar and pestle made from some sort of darker stone... Some new books as well (I love reading anything that like the MYST series), and maybe a few more hours in each day to actually get done more things that I want to do...
I'm probably going to pick up a Core i7 4770k (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116901) as a sort of Christmas gift to myself. I've been waiting for quite a while for them to come down in price so I can replace my 920. Failing that, I want to nab a second GTX 560 so I can SLI the two cards.
As far as what others are getting me, it's really up in the air. I haven't asked for much of anything this year, so I'm thinking I'll just let them surprise me.
