So I dropped off the face of the planet for a weekend.
My family (me, my wife, and my two girls) flew to San Antonio, TX from Tennessee to check out a church that wanted me to become their new pastor to middle school students.
Long story short, it was an awesome trip to visit an awesome church.
This Sunday I'm going to be letting my church know about the move and the new church. I'll basically be giving them my two weeks notice.
It's insane, but my family is going to be moving REALLY soon to Texas.
I may be a little "distant" as we oh, you know, move all our stuff, finish up things here and get started in a new city with my new job.
Ack!
>.< that's actually only 4 hours away from me lolol
Get ready to add Whataburger to your list of food groups.
Awright! B) Most of the RMRK Texans are in northeast Texas, but it's still nice to see you joining the ranks! :p

They're moving to Washington? I thought they were moving to Texas. I must not be paying attention.
No, I'm pretty sure he meant Texas. ;p
Then they should be clearer. It would've made more sense to say "Hottest state" or "Most Racist".
Hottest, like sexiest. Yes.

I'm pretty sure Alabama owns at least one of those titles.
not the hottest state, but probably the most racist
tennessee and probably virginia are pretty racist too
I did see a lot of confederate museums and flags when I visited Virginia...
Moving from Tenneessee. Which if nothing my current town may qualify for most racist.
Practiced reading my letter of resignation out loud already. Geez that's terrifying.
You'll love it here, man. Texas is great.
Nobutserious
Don't expect to ever see rain again. It's over, forever. Any rain you see will sizzle and evaporate upon contact
We had a decent amount of rain up in north Texas this year, though. =o
It's actually been a pretty cool summer. B) Certainly better than last year.
That'll be the opposite of here. It rains all the freaking time.
I mow my grass twice a week.
The good news is this:
We have successfully moved and settled in!
The bad news is this:
I cannot find Pokemon Heartgold. This is an emergency!
Seriously though, we've gotten down here and been in San Antonio now for a week. It's been a whirlwind and I have a lot to learn about the new church I'm serving at.
Just wanted to let you know: I am not dead!

Yay! Death is good to avoid... It's very bad for your health and all...
Hoorah! I'm glad you're one of us now. :)
Texas is the place they hang 'em high.
Glad you're settled, dude! Here's to your success!
