Thanks guys.   :ladyj:

I've been mostly working on the monster girl things, but I drew this today.

I'm trying out drawing my own game portraits. Still a WIP obviously. :aco:

Hmm...head and neck seem a bit large to me.  Even by anime standards.  Not too much, but just enough to look unnatural.

Moved some things around a little and gave him a shirt. Also some flat colors.

Can someone tell me if that skin tone looks grey-ish to them? I'm using two different monitors and the colors look really muted on my laptop screen.

It looks a little grey-ish to me, but not on the same level of the shirt. (Also, I really like that hair. It's fun-looking.)

I know I said I wanted this thread to be more about my traditional art endeavors, but whatever, video plug yay.

In honor of superhero week, I attempted comic book style.

I kinda screwed up the perspective by putting stuff in the background. Ohwell.

Haha, thanks. I guess you could say I'm one of those "jack of all trades, master of none" types. I'm never quite as good as I'd like to be in one thing, but I do try.

Not bad, but if you don't mind a little critique; on the sprited portrait, the shadow is off.  It looks flat.  You need to take the cheekbones into consideration.

At first I thought it was one of those black and white photos where you're supposed to look at it and somehow see color, because brains.

Yeah everything there is from scratch.
It follows this:

Could be better, but I guess it's all about improving through practice.

Star trek was today's theme. I did the original series bridge. I kinda freeformed it after a while so the perspective is all kinds of off.
