I just saw this, while I hope that it lets RM games be published on steam, I also hope that not just anyone can publish

It seems like SteamWorkshop is not implemented.
Maybe it'll get it. That would definitely be cool.

As for publishing an RM on Steam as a separate game. Yes that is a possibility although you do need someone with programming knowledge ^_^

Greenlight is the best way to get onto steam right now. I have seen RPG Maker games a lot recently. Quite a few on steam atm.
