If we can somehow avoid the nonexistent meteor that's supposed to crash into Earth on the 21st, then Christmas will be upon us in less than a month. That's 26 whole days of frantic shoppers trying to rush out to the store to grab those last minute gift ideas before somebody else grabs them, trying to stock up on Christmas candy only to find their kids eating every single piece the next day, and trying to find a tree that won't shed its needles on the carpet the second that it's set down. If you work in a retail store, it means your hours are probably quadrupled and your aspirin is running low. Amidst all of this chaotic commercialism though, we all have our own individual secret (or perhaps not so secret) Christmas wishes for the holidays.
So, what is it that YOU want for Christmas this year? It can be big, small, physical, immaterial, simple, complex, whatever comes to mind for your wishlist this year.
I don't particularly want anything physical for christmas this year XD Im more so hyped about seeing my friends and family and finishing exams . . . soooo This christmas I want a social life?
Got my girls and beautiful wife. Don't need much else save for time to spend with them.

Yup, I'm one of those retail-workers who is sol for the holidays. =p My place is probably second to Wal-Mart on the list of places that are going to be hectic.
I used to be all about presents and stuff, but I find that the real joy is in getting everyone something that I know they will love and use. So, there's nothing that I "need" (except Malson <3).
Heck, I guess if I had to pick, I'd say:
*One of those cool self-changing cat litter boxes, because it will make my cat-owning days much easier. :p
*Some nice-looking clothes (I have too much tomboy t-shirts and not enough flattering outfits... ;9)
*I need a new phone (mine is really, REALLY messed up), but I'm too lazy to ask for one. If it texts and calls, I'm okay. Even though it barely calls, because it's so short-celled that it kills my battery with one call and I have to re-charge it. :mad:
*A new...mousepad?
Clothes probably, Game of Thrones on bluray and some IKEA giftcards would be nice.
Don't really want/need anything though (except for furniture), that's just what I've told everyone who's asked.

Anyways, the main things I want this year will be coming after Christmas when I can go on my usual winter trip to North Carolina: some quality time with friends and loved ones, and some relaxation and peace of mind. It's been a whole year since our last visit due to life circumstances; every plan we made kept falling out beneath us at the last minute. Hopefully with both me and Zeich working our butts off and slowly paying off what debts we can while saving up a nest egg, this will be the last trip we take before striking out on our own.
For Christmas itself though, there's nothing really that I want to get for myself, as I'm mostly an anti-present kind of person. I like giving gifts but really don't like getting them, especially birthday stuff since I hate when people try to celebrate my birthday. If I had to list physical items that I'd like to get though (preferably with my own money in whatever after-Christmas sales there are), I'd probably look for:
- A good quality silver Claddagh ring
- Some select Kyell Gold paperback books
- A DSTwo card that actually bloody works on the 3DS
- Professional toy repair/cleaning service to fix up my plushie's nose
