basically team fighting robot versions of the characters, this was kind of speculated and hinted at earlier at some point

It's probably not going to be released for a long while still, Valve admitted that they thought it was going to take people a few weeks to find the clues and crack the codes for the ARG around the Blood Brothers (http://www.teamfortress.com/bloodbrothers/) comic. I'm guessing it will be some sort of Halloween boss-related event.

Oh man sounds soo good. Didn't they hint about an "Invasion RPG-Mode" a long time ago on the blog? With every update that could somewhat hint to it I've been going nuts.

I've gotten sort of bored with the typical public games, but damn this could be my drug.

It should have supported playing just over a peer to peer connection. The server congestion is a pretty big bummer and peer to peer would be fine for 6 players.

I agree. Got on last night to try out the new mode, only to be greeted with the usual "Can't connect to servers atm, lol!" messages because of everyone else in the world also wanting to give it a go, crowding up the servers big time. It's also a little annoying that you actually have to BUY tickets and such to get the reward items for anything you do in MvM, but I suppose it's no worse than them trying to get people to buy the Mann Co. keys to open any of the gazillion crates you find.

Well anyways, my steam name is Zylos the Fox (http://steam://friends/add/76561198025041522) if anyone wants another player on their team. Not the most skillful of players sometimes, but it's better than inviting a random 13 year old into the party instead.
