Title: Pixel Brady [Blog]
Post by: Brady on August 10, 2012, 02:09:12 PM
http://pixelbrady.wordpress.com/

To keep it short, this is just my blog covering all my game related stuff, from games out there to my personal projects, group work and anything cool I find and fancy rambling about!

Would have put this up sooner, but never seen this board until now :D

Do you think it's a good idea to talk about your guild in a public blog like that?

Sounds like it doesn't matter anyway.
QuoteSo, the Dog Days competition is going down the shitter, as basically my whole guild has given up

I think Gracie set a new record with her guild lasting only around two weeks.

I was being more private about it when we were a guild, but by now we have become "me".  I'm not in a guild anymore, and my guild gave up on me.  I have no obligations towards them, so I feel I should be allowed to voice my opinions on my personal blog;  I felt like mentioning the reasons why the first challenge was failed and why so little has been acheived so far.  Didn't want anyone readin' and thinkin' that *I* wasn't trying :(

QuoteOne of them (Pacman) has kindly finished off the script he was doing which I'm using now, giving a nice, succinct menu for the game.

I did mention that you finished the script on the blog, so didn't mention it here.

But everyone else, on the other hand, gave up without contributing a thing.  So no, I don't really feel like I owe them anything.

Who made the teaser video?

It looked pretty good in my opinion :)

Oh, the teaser was good aye.  Bayard did that, and Lethrface started on a sprite, but when everyone gave up on that game, I changed games beacsue idk enough about the first game to do it myself.

All I was meaning that since everyone else quit, they've left the entire guild to either fail completely or leaving all the work down to whoever wishes to stay and try make it work.  I'm not exactly happy that I was put in this position, is all.  Either way, the post wasn't a complaint about the guild, it was an explanation why after two weeks very little has been accomplished and why the first challenge was failed.  The post itself was just to blether about the second challenge.

If your guild is well and truly gone, maybe you could ask NAMKCOR for a transfer?
I don't know NAMKCOR's stance on this, so I'm not saying anything more than that.

Also if you're making a different game now, maybe you should do a teaser thread for it :)

Figured it was too late to get in on their projects.  Might as well just make my own wee contribution, even if it is a really, tiny, wee, mini-game! :D

Although s'pose I could do another thread for a teaser, ask him to replace it.  o.o
