Last year, a man decapitated and ate a fellow bus passenger. Just a few days ago, a man ATE THE FACE of a homeless person and had to be shot 4 times before he stopped.

The story took a horrifying turn when the man began to rip out his intestines and parts of his skin so he could throw them at the police officers.
Authorities decided to call Bergen County Police Department's SWAT team, Lloyd said.
An unnamed official from the police department told the Pilot that by the time the Bergen County Police Department's SWAT team got to Carter's house, his insides were "literally" coming out of his body.
"The scene was a bloody mess," the official said. "The SWAT team members had to be decontaminated due to the amount of blood."
The SWAT team was finally able to help Carter when they spayed two cans of pepper spray on him. Carter was disarmed and immediately rushed to the hospital, where he went into surgery Monday night.
Serious what-the-fuck stuff here. Oh, and what wasn't mentioned is that he stabbed himself
50 times before he attempted to throw his intestines.

The only zombie like occurence was the one in Miami. He didn't respond to police, just kept chewing and chewing till they shot him.
Now the media is highlighting these sort of stories because people are interested.
