Second, I hope you don't use this daily by the way.
The second one is the one I was leaning towards. And no, I don't wear a suit coat everyday, so it would be dumb to always use this.
Either way if you're going to be wearing this with your suits I'd spend more than 40 bucks on it. It looks good in the pics but it'll probably be some gilded piece of plastic that doesn't keep time for shit.

The only sort of pocket watch I can see not looking dorky is one with a solid metal case of brass or silver and without a skeleton face.
Edit: Like these, you're already going to be out of the ordinary for having a pocket watch in the first place so keeping it simple could only behoove you.

That's what I'm saying, you probably won't be satisfied with the 40$ one. Really the simple ones are my personal preference but I doubt that skeletal one is going to be any better quality than a Halloween costume prop. Go to some thrift stores or pawn shops so you can find something you like and judge the quality firsthand without dropping a lot of money.
Edit: I'm reading some reviews for it and they mostly say it looks a lot better than 40$ spent in real life with the rest saying it looks great but feels cheap so if you like it I'd say go for it.
