I love the background, blue is one of my favorite colors. The blue that you chose for the font though is horrible. It's very hard to read and not appealing at all. I would change that. Also the color for the.. background for those boxes (how do you like those technical terms?)  That blue doesn't work with your background at all.  I don't know the words to use but I do know what looks good, and that doesn't :P

I would also do away with the community. If people need to contact you they have the contact button. And the FAQ.  You don't need an FAQ until you actually have some Frequently Asked Questions, you know?

That's about it for my advice :)

Thanks  :)
I'll probably remove FAQ for now since yes your right there aren't any. I personally thought the font color looked nice, but since it makes it hard to read I'll fix that. I think I'll keep community, I kinda trying to set mine up like this (http://www.amaranthia.com/).

This is a really great site for finding color themes: http://kuler.adobe.com/

Some of the themes other people come up with are really neat, and can be a good jumping point.
OR, you can click the create button, and choose something like compound, or triad, and experiment until you find something you like.
It lets you create themes from an image, too, which is really neat.

I dunno, might help you find some inspiration.

But yeah, I like the background, but some of the font color choices irk me. Also, changing font sizes the way you do also bothers me. I mean, making titles and headers larger is fine, but at some places you have a little box of text to the right that's a much larger font size from the main font, and that's a no-no. Like on this page: http://beacongames.com/gold_and_glory.html

Other suggestions; on your main page, where you say "Welcome to Beacon Games," add a little history or description of yourself / your team/company below (in a smaller font than the "welcome to beacon games" part, obviously). Not too much, but enough to fill in some of that dead space there.

Also, something about the font choice in general ... I just don't know. I really, really like your logo, though.

Thanks I'll fix the font size and color. I'll also add a description as well.
EDIT: I originally created the logo first and I decided to host my website with web starts not only because I like the features but because I though that the background matched perfectly.

Cool! It's just kinda hard to see the "Beacon Games" logo, because it's black and the background is gray ;9

Thanks! I might go back and increase the brightness.  :)

You should probably look into CSS for styling the page. Also, colour themes. At the moment, it looks pretty bad.

Alright I'll look into CSS. Any ideas for the color theme?
