To celebrate Halo's promotion and the move to a new server, let's clear the cobwebs and update the crap out of the our long neglected RMRK Community Wiki (http://wiki.rmrk.net/)!
It's been ages since the wiki has had a good makeover. Many existing member pages haven't been touched in well over a year, while a lot of loved new members have yet to receive a page. I myself gave up trying to update everything ages ago, I just couldn't keep up with updating the RMRK awards pages because there was way too many for me to handle by myself. But it's time for that to change!
So, I asked the staff if we'd be allowed to reward anyone who is able to make significant contributions to the wiki with a special trophy icon to acknowledge their dedication to updating our archives. Looks like it's been approved, so now our wiki editors will earn trophy icons based on the number of worthwhile changes they make, starting with bronze and working your way up to gold! What counts as a significant change will be up to the discretion of the staff members, but generally this will include adding new member pages and giving an overhaul to some of the older member pages with the latest info that can be found. Minor things like just being a grammar Nazi doing a spell check probably won't be enough to earn you anything, although even that will still be appreciated for some of the grammatical nightmare pages.
Repeat: Edit pages, earn trophies. The more significant edits you make, the better your trophy status.
Obviously, in order to edit or add new pages, you will need to have a wiki account. This is NOT the same as your RMRK account. Currently, creating new accounts is locked to make sure to keep spambots out (as far as I know, we have no members named CheapViagraSale), but all of the wiki admin can very easily make an account for you if you don't already have one. If you are new or just haven't gotten one yet, just post here in this thread if you want an account and someone will get around to making one for you. Just make sure you don't make your own bio page once you've got an account.

I'm a bit unfamiliar with the wiki right now, but I'll try to get the hang of it so I can lend a hand. 8)
I don't mind helping as I get time. I actually worked on it quite a bit in like... 2009 lol. But I got frustrated with the sheer amount of work there was to do. xD
There's even more to do now. I'm going to start with getting some articles for members than still need them, and then I'm going to go through and just focus on updating member articles before anything else.
Also going to get rid of some unnecessary stuff, like the Buddy Lists.
