Question:
If you had to lose one finger from each hand, which would it be?
Option 1: Thumb
Option 2: Index
Option 3: Middle
Option 4: Ring
Option 5: Pinky
this is for astronomy class
BE HONEST!
Pinky, altough its much more necesary to grabbing things then msot people think
I chose ring cause I'm probably never gonna get married.................................................................
I chose pinky. I don't really need it. I broke mine a few months ago, and I did quite well without using for a while. And I need ring fingers.
I hold shift with my left pinky finger.
I am a clarinettist, I need all my fingers !
That's not an option do you want me to fail astronomy or what.
I guess if I had to choose it would be my middle finger.
I chose middle. Index, thumb and pinky are much too valuable for grasping things, and I'm all sentimental about using my ring finger for my future wedding ring. Of course, writing and typing would be a bitch, but I suppose that's just something you have to deal with when losing a finger.
I think ring. Ring is pretty much the least dexterous finger in my experience. Even as a guitarist, I could totally get away without it.
I chose ring for the simple reason that I do not use it while I am drawing, and I barely use it when I am typing and I could likely easily get used to using my pinky or middle finger for the keys I would need, if I had no choice.
Since I don't really do much else with my ring finger other than occasionally faking people out to think that I'm flipping them off (which I haven't done since I was 15 anyways), I think I would be OK with getting rid of them, if I HAD to choose.
although, I AM a bit curious about what this has to do with Astronomy...
Ring, wouldn't want to lose my pinky or middle finger. I use them for grip far more than I do with that disgusting fourth digit.
I chose thumb because I root for the underdog.
thanks a lot not i fail astronomy

Can't even be mainstream here, you hipster? :V
That's right! *thumbs up*
Oh wait...
Pinky because the other fingers are more necessary for playing guitar and playing games. :c
Index. It isn't as useful to me as I one would otherwise think, such as in Iai-do, calligraphy and starting IV's.
Although it IS useful for other things I like to do, those are the top three, so... take it off.
After experimenting with picking things up, I choose to lose the middle finger.
It isn't helping that much with lifting things and I think I can get by without flipping anyone the bird.
Out of curiosity, Irock, how does this relate to astronomy?

Isn't it obvious?
Of course. Not at all, no.
I don't know but now I failed school. :(
How would I crouch or call for medic without my pinkies :(
I was not aware that crouching required the use of one's pinkies.
I guess I would lose some of my classiness if I lose my pinkies, but I think that I would not use it as much as my other fingers. For instance, losing any of my other fingers would make so much more difficult.
What did you rebind Medic to? shift?
Ring fingers are stupid.
I've sprained my index finger, burned my hands once (mainly the thumb part), and the pinky is quite important, so no to these three. Between the middle and the ring, I can't really decide. I've broken one of my ring fingers, so probably my middle one because it hasn't suffered as much as the rest (except pinky.)
It would really depend on my mood that day.
You know,
If whoever is cutting my finger asked me for my choice before he cut it.

How would you call for a medic WITH your pinky?
British people do everything with their pinkies.
I think its because Roph uses the arrow keys and not WASD..
Actually thats retarded, the british reason was good =)
