I like it, though there's some problems I have with it, but it's only been 2 weeks since release.

That's what they said about a lot (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Warhammer_Online:_Age_of_Reckoning) of (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aion_(computer_game)) different (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Age_of_Conan:_Hyborian_Adventures)  MMORPGs (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Wars_Galaxies).

Final Fantasy XIV.

The problem is I don't feel like paying a monthly fee for a WoW-esque game in 2012. It's even less appealing to me than WoW because of the heavy focus on story, really. All the instancing imposed on the game so that they can tell their story sounds pretty lame. Also, I don't really care about Star Wars.

I'd rather MMOs go in the other direction - less story and better gameplay. TERA seems to be doing something like that, but I'm still not very hyped about it.

I'm playing Sith, and I'm not going to be a bounty hunter, because that's what everyone is. I have zero interest in Star Wars, and I got the game because I've been hearing some really interesting things about it. Not the least of which is that this game is really just KOTOR 3 wrapped in an mmo. Since KOTOR is one of my favorite series, I'm pretty intrigued.

I really dig Star Wars... heck, Episode 4 and I have the same release year... But I'm already pretty invested in WoW and don't really want another subscription fee for a game I may not like. Besides, I did the year subscription for WoW.

That surprises me, I figured everyone would go force-user.

That's possibly one of the most amazing ways to describe your birthday ever.

It's not really different enough to switch from WoW either imo.  Unless you're a Star Wars buff.

I want to play a good MMORPG, but I don't know what's out there, and I'm just kinda waiting for D3 or GW2. :c

I got this because it takes all of the shit I hate about mmos and makes it optional. Its really good so far, and I love the storyline. Its the only one I've played that I want to keep playing. So yeah. I'm glad I got it. Again, I'm not a Star Wars fan. I just like the game.

GW2 does not look like anything special.

Most MMORPGs aren't because if they were necessarily "special" then it wouldn't attract a big enough audience to make it "massive." Can be innovative, but yah. Plus, don't fix what ain't broke, I suppose.

But to be perfectly honest, I'm just talking out of my ass because I've never played Guild Wars, and I don't have any idea what GW2 is going to be like, but I'm just speculating, I guess.

I just got off of the first world, and now I'm at the Imperial Headquarters. I've heard some awesome things about the place I'm about to go to, so I'm looking forward to that. Also, I'm at the point where I choose between a more sorcerer-heavy class, or more of an assassin class. I think I'm going sorcerer.
