Custom Main Menu

SummaryI need a menu for a game where the majority of the time there is only one character in the party, but also allows for guest party members to be seen. For the most part, this is largely a cosmetic change, and it will behave like the DMS (as in, it'll appear the same way, slightly transparent with the current map visible, ect.). The exceptions are that when selecting an option where you'd normally have to choose a character (Skill, Equip, Status), instead of choosing a character, it will automatically default to the main character. Also, there are added options to choose from, and the map name spread on two lines. See the image below for more details.
Features Desired
- One player menu based on the DMS.
- Small area for guest party members.

1.) The options include Journal and Load Game.
2.) The map name is spread across two lines for the sake of larger map names.
3.) (last name) would be something defined in the script, so in the database the character can only have their first name in the database.
4.) You are free to expand windows and enlarge text as needed for everything to fit well.

Well, the design is kind of similar to my Full Status CMS:

There would need to be a couple significant changes though, as I take it that you would not want to be able to access any of the other party members when you select Skills, etc.. and the status window would need to include less info and a big picture.
I would give it a shot, but I am afraid I am occupied with other things at the moment. But maybe someone else will be able to use the FSCMS as a base.

Yeah, if I'm reading you right. This is just a modification of the main menu, so there's no need to alter the others. It's just if you select Skills, Equip, or Status, it automatically loads the main character's skills, equipment, or status. You can still access the others using the keys in those respective menus, just not in the main menu. The idea behind it is, 95% of the time, there's only going to be one person in your party, so why bother offering the option to select others?
Understood. I'd just like to get the major scripts out of the way before I start on actually eventing everything else.
