Its available for free in the Nintendo eShop on the DSi, DSiXL, and 3DS. Just go to the shop and download it~
Yeah. I hope to be able to play this multi-player sometime soon. I actually got to play the GBA version once for about 30 minutes, and it was a lot of fun. The game also now includes three (four?) new dungeons, which is pretty awesome.
The single-player in this is...not good. The second Link just sits there...
I'm hoping they'll make another sequel now. FS:A was a fucking blast. Me and some buddies played it and FF:CC until I passed out at about 5 a.m. Good times.
I downloaded this, haven't got a chance to play it yet.
Single player is fine. It works like the gamecube one, where you switch between the two with l and r, or pull them together and use them as one. The lame part so far is the randomized maps. I guess its good for multilayer, because it adds replayability, but eh. I like a hand designed dungeon.
Huh! I didn't know the maps are randomized. Pretty neat.
Yeah, the single-player is fine and fun. But it's definitely is meant to be played with multiple people, and the design doesn't hold up all that well with one person controlling two Links. Just feels a bit clumsy and truncated. (Didn't the GC one let you control all four at once or individually?) I'm grateful they included single-player, though, because I always wanted to play it again (and I can't wait to get to the Zelda I dungeon!).
The Wii U would be a great system for a sequel. :D
I remember having Four Swords on the GBA for half an hour, then sending it back after finding out that I needed at least one other person to play with. Still, at least it had A Link To The Past. I've played this version for about 20 minutes so far and I find it enjoyable, plus it's a free Zelda which makes even better. :X
