Title: Issue with Yanfly Battle Engine Melody
Post by: Countdown on February 20, 2011, 10:25:31 PM
Just a simple issue (I think) having to do with Yanfly's Battle Engine Melody.

I have the 5 scripts in it, and the additional Extra Movement script. However, in battle. Whenever an enemy comes to attack me, they turn around so that their back is facing me, and swing their sword at me through their back.

And if I take the Extra Movement script out, then my enemies face me, but swing their weapons through their back (facing away from me).

I've read and re-read everything in the script seeing if I can figure out how to fix it. But I cannot find anything.

Any help would be nice.

Let me know if it made sense or not (the actual issue happens in both mine and Solar Eclipse's games, although mine is currently unable to be worked on because I haven't gotten Parallels or VMWare working on my mac yet).

He speaks truth. I think it might have something to do with the fact that we only took the battle system, not the whole engine, but I'm no scripter: I'm stumped by the whole thing.

Bump. Any ideas, thoughts, services? It's not a big issue. But it's one that I'd like to get fixed.

Bumping as well.

It's unsolved and I wanna know too, since I've ran into the exact same problem.

There's been a lot of people on many forums having issues with it.  Ask Yanfly.  Even when it does work, there's an intense lag for some people.  Yan's melody scripts tend to not be harmonious with anyone else's stuff.
