Wow, have you got the wrong community. In all seriousness, I'm not a huge basketball fan, but that was pretty sick.

@Goolkeye

Nah I'm in the right community. I like RPG Maker and I make franken sprites and am currently working
On an RPG with my friend in XP. I taught I'd just share to the people here this amazing play cuz there's bound to be sports fans and rpg fans like me here right?

But back to topic (before it becomes spam), I FELL OF MY COUCH WITH AMAZEMENT WHEN THAT HAPPENED!!!  ;D

That's not what I meant. I don't use smileys, normally, but I guess I should've put a :V or at least an ;) behind that statement.

Not pretending to really know anything about basketball here, but aren't you supposed to dribble before every step? It looked like he took a few steps before he passed it. o0

I think so, but when I watched it again I don't think he could have made the pass any other way. He had to turn his body to put his strength into the throw. I mean, he could've dribbled it mid turn, but that would have been kinda awkward I think.

EDIT: According to the comments though the general consensus appears to be that he was traveling.

He kept one foot locked in place, as long as you don't move that foot you can dance all over the place. It's called pivoting.
