Title: Newb, too big for britches
Post by: kaznam on January 23, 2011, 09:13:26 PM
Hey,
So I'm just starting out and already I'm getting a tad over-ambitious. I want to do an adaptation of stories from the Cthulhu Mythos. For those unfamiliar, it's a horror setting, traditionally set around 1950's-now. I realize RMVX is geared toward more fantasy, but I'm wondering if it's possible to edit some skins and icons too look like guns instead of Bows, or changing the object name from Bow to Gun? Anyway, I am curious to hear thoughts about possibilities.
Thanks,
Kaz

Well, I'm not experienced at all about how to edit weapons or anything else, but I do know where you can find the sprites (graphics) for everything.

1.Go to "my computer"
2.Click on whatever you saved RMVX under
3.Go to "program files"
4.Find "RPG Maker VX"
5.Finally, go to "RTP", where you'll find all of the graphics of things in RPG Maker VX
