So yeah I was playing FFXII the other day and had almost totally forgotten about the gambit system which still intrigued me to this day. Then another things occurred to me about the Gun weapons within the game: they ignore enemy Defense values and deal "piercing" damage to a target albeit it's low attack power. Not only that but they also included ammunition to not only only the gun types but the different bows as well.
Long story short, I was wondering if it would be possible to create a script that would follow the difficult yet inventive Gambit system of FFXII as well as maybe make a way for a weapon to deal piercing damage (if it hasn't already been done) along with maybe an ammunition to go along with them? i.e. silver shot, mud shot etc.
This is a great idea, but sadly there are a lot of final fantasy 12 haters on RMRK :-\ .. But if you make your story interesting they might like your game. :lol:
Oh really? Ah well I can always keep it in my backpocket for another game I suppose. It's not like this will be my only suggestion lol.
