Title: Music Question
Post by: blitzer136 on November 18, 2010, 11:11:15 AM
Can I use MP3 files instead of MIDI files for my music in  RMXP?

Yes, but they may make the download huge if you intend to share the project. A lot of people won't download an RM game if it's over 60MB.

Screw it. Mp3's are far and away better sound than MIDI's. I say do it and have a better product. That's just me, though, I respect MA's opinion and see the wisdom in it.

Well, for RPG maker games, I think that MIDI file music sounds much better, but an occasional MP3 file music wouldn't hurt the game.

Plus, this is just my opinion, other people may think differently.

idk, but i know that ive only been accustomed to hearing midis in rpg's like these, so i think i might freak out if i heard an mp3 in one :P
