I ran a few searches and nothing really came up, so I hope I'm not re-creating a already made thread >.>
This was what I got from a search (http://rmrk.net/index.php?action=search2).
Anyways, is anyone waiting for the game? Do you plan on getting it on the day its released, or just at all in a few days or not at all?
As I said on another forum:
My brothers are going to get it the day its released. :D
I don't like Halo much (1 was great though and 2 had awesome online battles), but when I played Reach, it felt like a whole new game! I can't wait to play it, if my brothers will allow me lol
From what I played, it was exciting and really, really fun and really addictive.
----
Did you guys play BETA when it was out? I found it extremely fun! C:
No to all your questions.
More like Halo: Reacharound
Seeing as i was quite good at the beta i might get it, but i certaintly wont be rushing into getting it, anyone talking to me about it in person is likely to be ignored though
I know a lot of my friends are getting it (some of them are going to midnight releases, crazies o.o), but I don't know if I'm getting it anytime in the near future, especially with college breathing down my neck right now. The beta was really fun though, so I'm sure it'll be a worthwhile purchase when I get around to it.
I'll probably burn it, play it for a bit, and then get sick of killing the same 4 enemies over and over without end like I do with every Halo game.
I play Halo for multiplayer, not for story
Meh. If I'm going to play multiplayer, there are a lot of better choices. I'll probably try it for a bit and then go back to TF2 or Quake Wars.
I agree. I am just saying, Halo is better for multiplayer then for single player.
Probably because it's only got 4 enemies. 8)
Aside from that, though, there are plenty of reasons why I don't like Halo that much. For most of them, Reach could possibly be an exception. I know that ODST was a little better as far as boring geometry goes, but the two things that kill it for me are having to use a 360 controller for an FPS, and the community. The only way to make playing on LIVE any worse would be lining the headset with razor wire. I never even use it anymore. But I don't know. Maybe this one will turn it all around and be excellent. It could happen.
This topic reminded me of HotS ;-;
The franchise seems to have been milked way too hard already, lost interest after 2 :/
I agree, has been milked. I don't much like the games. I guess Halo 1 was good, but everything after, eh....
I do, however, enjoying online games. Something about joining in a team gets me. I enjoyed Reach (got it the day it released), so to me, I'd have to say its pretty nice, or at least the online feature was because the people had a different difficulty and didn't repeat the same actions. Personally, Call of Duty is better to me lol

Same here. :o

On the upside - I heard the multiplayer for this is amazing. Idk though, I haven't played.
Oh yeah, I heard that the level creation, the forge, is actually amazing now and not half assed like in H3. I have no idea if it was in ODST. What little videos I've seen of the forge reminds me of the old days of hacking the plasma pistol to shoot out random bits of scenery or some shit. I like the useless things to make the level look cool instead of just placing weapons, barrels and spawn points.

As Halo hater (not liker) I found the multi player amazing. The shooting is better, the movement isn't so awkward, the online is a lot better as well. Forging, I haven't tried, but I saw my brothers using it. Looks pretty great from what I've seen.
I was bummed they didn't allow trees to be placed or used, but I was told that it would have crashed the Xbox. Sounds crazy.... :/
If you liked any of the games for their multi player, you should probably get it. But if you hated them all and don't really want to take a chance, then you should rent it or see if a local store allows a demo to test out :)
I was great at video games until Halo came out.
I don't like Halo.

HaloOfTheSun > Halo game franchise
I bought it, beat it on legendary with some friends it was alright.
Multiplier the same as before, the community too, though i guess it works a bit better.
It's average, nothing stands out really. Forgeworld I found to be incredibly boring, but then, I'm used to custom maps and gmod shit, so I didn't expect a console game to impress me in that respect.
What really confuses the ever-loving fuck out of me, is why the hell the 10 sensitivity is so low. I put it up to 10, supposedly insane, and it's still half as fast as I'd like.
