This was actually very funny to me when I first saw it. Then I check to find NAMKCOR's comment, again I just to laugh... :)
Karo (currently known as Sunny Milk), Joy, Nessiah, Shifting Psychosis, NAMKCOR, Acolyte, Rachael... but all out of your league.
Roph would gladly go out with you though. :3

Lol, I find this funny for some reason.
That's what I said!
oh i was'nt interest in dating.. just playing a game. and what confuse me is what is so funny about dating?
Why does it have to be by a female game maker? And lot's of things are funny about dating, you just have to see for yourself though.

This.
What difference does it make, if you aren't trying to find chicks?

Of course not. You were just interested in a one night stand. :V
I don't see why there's a need to specifically play a game made by a girl. There's no real difference between a game made by a guy or a girl, so the question is taken as seriously as someone looking for specific porn in order to study aerobic positioning techniques.
Well, I was reading this psychology book once where it talked about the difference between male and female thought patterns. Supposedly males favor more technical details, while females prefer broader generalization and personal touches. For example, when giving directions, men were more likely to give street adresses and exact directions. Women were more likely to give directions in relation to other places. I've noticed that a lot of my guy friends go straight to eventing and map making before making a concrete story. I on the other hand like to focus more on the story and worry about other details later. It could just be personal preference though, and have nothing to do with gender.
So yeah, there could be differences in the way males and females go about game making, but that's probably not why he's looking for girl games. ^-^
That's a broad generalization, I bet you're a woman, to generalize like that.
Hey look, I'm right, it's even in your profile!
NAM++;
You know us women, always generalizing everything. :V
But seriously, I didn't mean to come off as if that was the absolute truth. I know that everyone has their own way of thinking, no matter what gender. ;)

I'm taken.
Just "lol".
Anywho: I too believe there could be differences in games made by males/females.
Why else would there be boys-/girls-specific mangas (shounen/shoujo), etc, otherwise?
In the game industry there's still way more men then women, so smaller games like these made in rmxp or similar are the only ones that can have 100% influence from women.
I'd probably like to test a few myself too, lol.
And why complain on someone who wants to test games specifically made by girls?
Afraid there really might be differences? :P
topic is sausagefest
What is this "woman" I don't even...
Yeah, I don't really agree with industry being so OVERLY man. We're seeing ALOT of women making, writing, voice acting, etc in today. Not even going to touch on the fact that the people covering the Game industry are pretty equally matched. To be honest I'm sick of the whole girl vs. boy thing. It doesn't matter to me who's making the game as along as their was thought and love put into...and it was fun to play. And come on the way he asked was just a bit odd...haha :)
Shounen manga can be written by girls and Shoujo manga can be written by boys. So I don't see why that makes a difference :P Shounen and Shoujo is just the target audience "Young Boys" and "Young Girls".
I enjoy stories written by males and females, although I do find female writers to have a tendency to write more personally... like you get a bit more character depth and interaction and stories tend to be more character-driven. The books I like written by males tend to be more political or made to be a direct parody or commentary on a concept or idea.
what is this i don't even
I suppose going by Acolyte's description, my games would have that feminine touch you're looking for too. :V (Not to mention I'm awful with street names and stuff so I fall under that too, bwahaha.)
Here's a lady RPG maker. You can even help her out with her game if you want to. :P

This is pretty spot on, imo. I've noticed that the first thing I tend to work on are the items and such, then the mapping and eventing. All the while, story ideas kind of simmer in the back of my mind.
