Post by: shadow-man on August 24, 2010, 06:36:39 PM
Critical Error C0000005 at address 004B52A8 when i try to import a tileset, i have tried to manually import the tileset through the folders where the files are saved in the graphics folder but when i try to use it the white background is visable when they are used.

i have used photoshop to remove the background and have transparency for the background but still nothing. . . could someone help?

Are you importing a PNG file? Try attaching the image here.

Okay, I took a look at the file you sent me in the PM and got the same error. However, the answer is fairly obvious, albeit annoying to solve: your image is just waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too large for it to use. Take a look through it for similar sections (i.e., indoor parts versus outdoor parts and such), and try chopping it down into several different tilesets that are much much smaller. This could take a while given the image size.
