Question
Whats SC2?
Starcraft 2
I refuse to pay 104.95 NZD for a game.
I refuse to waste a whole day torrenting for a game.

Buy the disk or use the download from blizzard.
Yes blizzards lets you download the full game :O
You need to make a battle.net account and then just go to the download clients section.
Not sure if you need to buy a code first or not, I think not but not sure.
@Jonesy - then download it and put a crack, finish the campaign and see if you still refuse.
That's what I did, the battle.net part of the game alone is well worth it and I am currently replaying the whole thing on hard to get all the achievements (everyone loves those)
But yeah honestly, you should at least give the campaign a shot.
lol I am such an addict I advertise blizz for free :< It's like drugs I tell ya
Raynor needs his own series. Maybe a 3PS.
Dawn of War 2 is still better. SC2 is just SC with a modern skin.

I liked DoW2, but the missions felt very...same-y, and the cover system was very clunky.
Also DoW2 is totally not the same type of RTS that SC is, apples and oranges here.
SC2 is more than just a SC facelift as well. Mechanics and gameplay have been streamlined and things (like very limited squad control) in SC have been fixed. The campaign is extremely diverse in mission type and the cinematics are wonderful. And the multiplayer seems pretty well balanced from a playing standpoint, though the forums would have you believe otherwise (of course, most people on the forums are morons anyway).
Both great games in their respective genre.
I still liked DoW2 better.

That much is a matter of opinion, I was just saying you can't really compare the two against each other due to extreme mechanics differences.
They're both RTS games. The minutiae might be different, but they're still in the same category. SC2 is just more of the same. As in anything, though, it's just my opinion. I get sick of building an army of a million little things, and then sending it a different colored army of a million little things.
My reasoning is that in DoW2 you have character progression and you don't ever build anything, it's more of a Real Time RPG than a RTS in my book.
Ok
I thought this topic was going to be about Soul Calibur. ;9
.
So i'm starting to really kick ass as Zerg. The start off is quick and their AA is second to none. They've got the fastest out flying detectors, the only problem is troop movement is slow due to lack of creep. That and sacrificing drones for everything, however this is counter acted by being able to produce multiple units at once, further done so by the queen. Before my first win, which was as Zerg, my score was 0:8 WL, now it's 7:14, which may seem bad but compared to the original pre-win, it's a hell of an improvement.
