Title: [Request]Animated Monsters
Post by: Kaelar on July 31, 2010, 08:42:09 PM
Animated Monsters
july 31st 2010

Summary
I would like to have the possibility to create frame based animations of my battlers. I know that this is probably possible with the side view battles but I am currently with the default battle system and I dont wanna change. So if with some battlers named like that ''Monster1_1'' ''Monster1_2'' ''Monster1_3'' i could have a 1-2-3-2-1-2-etc based animation it would be absolutely fantastic.

The only thing is that I dont want to use the TSBS, I want to keep the default front view so I just need the monsters to be animated.

And yes I am french. (french canadian to be exact lol)

You can use the Default Front View Battle System as one of the options with Battle Engine Melody (http://wiki.pockethouse.com/index.php?title=Battle_Engine_Melody). It also adds a lot of other features for customizing skills and damage formulas. AND you can make animated enemies using Animation sheets for them and customizing poses for attack and damaged and evade and everything.

PS: Canada Rules.

Thanks for this script, but it's a little too much for what I want. I really simply want the animated monsters lol nothing more, I dont need any other scripts or features lol. I dont want to create items or skills via another thing than the database and I also don't want to see the characters charsets on the screen, which seems to be a primary feature of this script.

Like I said that's an option that you don't need to use, but I do understand where you're coming from. If you don't need that much there is no reason to have that much... I personally like having it and discovering "Hey, I don't need to get something else, it's all I need."
