Title: How do you let the player name the main hero?

I guess the subject really is the question. Well, I use RPG 2003 if that's important. However, I asked this in these forums before, and someone answered: Go to the third tab of the event commands. The third one down is Name Input Processing. Use it. Then when that event runs, it will call the name input screen. Sadly, when I searched the entire event commands, I didn't find "name input processing". I assumed that this event wasn't accessible in RPG 2003. So if there is any other way to do what I am asking, please post it here!

Mhm, that's for XP. However, it does exist in 2k3 as well - it's called Enter Hero Name; it's on the second tab of the event commands and the fourth one down in the first column. I included a screen shot.

Took a look at your old topic. Apparently, you never specified what RPG Maker you were using, which makes a very big difference. The method that Modern Algebra showed you was for RPG Maker XP and VX. Now, things work differently in 2K3. I believe the command you'll need is ENTER HERO NAME, listed on the second event tab.
