Title: Problem when trying to start a battle.(resolved)
Post by: KirbSuperStardude on June 15, 2010, 12:38:04 PM
Whenever I test play a battle, it's about to start.
Then it closes down and says "the event script references a skill that does not exist."

Did you lower the maximum number of skills recently? It could be that an actor or enemy has a skill that no longer exists.

That's the thing, I've never made any skills yet.

Well, increase the maximum number of skills to as high as it can go, then see if the error persists. If it does, the problem is elsewhere. If not, then you've fixed the problem.

I've gotten this with weapons before. Double check that you really do not have any assigned skills. Check hero info and class info. My weapon issue came from despite deleting all items telling me heroes now have nothing equipped, the database is still looking for them. I just would then make sure to delete (press delete) on the items and heroes instead of just lowering the max data ... thingy.

... hey wait I know you.
