Title: Need help with Importing Pictures!
Post by: Robe-Reichart on May 17, 2010, 02:30:12 AM
I want to import some pictures that I made to fit properly. The problem is, I don't know how to get rid of the white box that the picture is in! I just want the image of the monster and not the entire box. How can I make that white surrounding invisible while keeping the picture intact?

Thanks to whoever can help me with this!

Left click the background when importing.

Actually I had the same problem. I'll just add on here. When i go to Import pictures, i find the picture in my folder, double click it, and it immediately sends the picture into the database without giving me the option to make part of it (the background) invisible, Im pretty sure it will let you do that for other things, but for some reason it doesnt let me, or him it looks like, select it.

Also, i think it should be made clear (for me anyway) that the picture i'm trying to import is supose to be in the Battlers folder

If you are using your resource manager to import files in, you should be aware that some file types cannot be used for transparency. I believe that the best file type to use for RPG Maker is PNG.
