If you haven't been following this story, a while ago wikileaks obtained the video (albeit encrypted) belonging to the US govt involving an attack on civilians in Baghdad. Ever since the US govt learned that Wikileaks has the video, known wikileaks contributers have since been targeted and detained (most recently, some on their way to a conference in Iceland).
Wikileaks has responded by decrypting and releasing the video, both in full and a shortened contextual version. US Govt will be pissed.

This makes me fucking sick. Bunch of scumbags and murderers. I hope all the soldiers there realize that they're not fighting for "liberty" or for the protection of their homeland. They're dying for the profits of some rich asshole, and innocents, like the ones shown being bombarded in the video and even U.S soldiers, ultimately pay the price.
Best part is, the U.S government trying to cover it up like they usually do. Fucking disgusting.
Arrow, I hope you're joining the army for the right reason, and I hope you know your government doesn't give a fuck about you.

I try not to blame the soldiers. (not saying that you did, I'm just sayin'). I blame the officers and those in office for this kind of stuff. Our soldiers are essentially brainwashed into thinking they're doing the best possible thing by very persuasive people. I agree that this is disgusting. I hope something major is made of this. I plan to pass this around.

Y'know, I never really approved of the war in Iraq... I saw no need to be there after they revealed there were no WMDs (whether or not they knew this all along is a discussion I don't wish to get into).
Fact: Many Iraqis don't want us there.
Fact: Many Americans don't want to be there.
Fact: We're killing each other stupidly each and every day because of these two previous facts.
War sucks, that's a fact, but this isn't war... This is something so much beneath war, that it is just sickening.

Shouldn't the people be able to bring up the case to the Supreme Court using the case involving the Pentagon Papers to go against the US government? This is against First Amendment. :mad: (I learned about this in class P: )
