I have my audio keyboard plugged into the integrated audio in on my computer. I was playing it but noticed that barely any audio was coming out of the right speaker. I confirmed this with my earbuds. I turned up the keyboard volume and started playing but audio completely stopped coming from the keyboard into my computer and out my speakers. I messed with the cord, thinking it was the problem, but that did no good. I played some music on my computer, and the audio is like "PKKKKKKKKKLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLKKLLKHHHHHH" when it plays. I doubt the speakers are the problem, because my audio in stopped working at the same time.
Do you think my integrated sound is broken? Should I get a sound card?
Does device manager register any faults?
It reports it as working properly.
Double click on the volume control and make sure that SW synth is turned up.
It is.
Record from stereo mix while you play something, and upload the result. That will show whether it's your chip or your output.
Buy a mac.

You're fucked, I don't know.
Ignore creative cards.
Sounds like blown speakers to me.
Blown speakers don't make stereo mix do that.
Any sound card recommendations? \(;])/

Almost sounds like I'm listening to a Metal Gear OST :)
Buy an Mbox.
Buy a boom-box.
More than enough. (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16829111003) Unless you are using a 7.1 fibre optic sound system. :X
Either your sound is way to loud on your volume settings.
OR
Your cord is fucked. Maybe a loose connection on the inside or at the tips.
Have you tried a new cord?
New sound card fixed things.
Do more LPs now, dickbutt.
