This looks alot better than the mad moxxi's underdome riot thing. I never even finished it. 20 rounds of 5 waves? too long, get lost.
Set for release in 2 days, I'm looking forward to it :)
that looks pretty sweet, I have the other two around here somewhere but I never bothered playing them.
The jakobs cove / zombie island of dr ned DLC was better than mad moxxi's riot. Was cool to go visit old haven again, but now overrun by zombies =o
what did moxxi's riot add in? more levels or just that extra area?
Only the extra dome area. Seemed more of like something released out of desperation or to keep fans happy than something they seriously worked hard on. It's just so repetitive. Do the first rounds and you've pretty much done all there is to the addon.
that's too bad, at least the other DLCs are looking sweet.
the whole point of the addon was to have nearly endless waves. play until you get bored, that was the point.

If people wanted boring FPS's, they'd play Call of Duty.

I don't know. I like Borderlands and all, but it is pretty boring after a while.

or [insert generic Xbox FPS here].
EDIT: I hope you didn't say Halo because you think my username is a reference to it lol. I hate Halo
I'm not that dumb.
Besides.
It's obvious that you're a god from Silent Hill 3 (http://rmrk.net/index.php/topic,33203.0.html)
EVERYTHING IS GENERIC ON CONSOLES. no seriously go fuck yourself
Console FPS games are factually dumbed down to make them easier to play with controllers.
There are a lot of shitty FPS games on 360, to be fair. Its other big title, Gears of War (TPS, I know), isn't all that flash either.
Also, Borderlands is pretty poop. If I wanted to collect loot, I'd do it in Fallout 3 where there's less bugs and better quests :)
and better music.

less bugs
Wat
I'm not particularly a big fan of Borderlands, but it's definitely better than Fallout "Most Overrated Game Ever" 3.
I like Halo. :-*
I think Fallout 3 has the most bugs ever.
For those who use Digital Hive, the DLC is up now :)

I agree with chewey. :)

I Am Inclined To Disagree With You.
What the god damn, this thing is hard. I need to wait for a trainer or something.
I'll join you Roph, just lemme download it and get gameranger tonight ;o

The joke was Fallout 3 had less bugs than Borderlands even with its own large list of bugs. This is a true statement.
I've never had one problem with Borderlands. Not one.
Wait, wasn't there supposed to be a Zombie Island DLC or something like that?
...you're telling me that wasn't any good? Or hasn't it come out yet?
The zombie island DLC came out last year =o
Then came the mad moxxi rounds / wave fighting DLC, and now this big DLC.
IT IS HARD

zombie island came out and it's pretty good.
mad moxxi is just boring wave combat
haven't tried knox yet.

I've never had one problem with Fallout 3 I guess our anecdotes here are evidence for the number of bugs in either game
(not really)
I guess you're right. It's just circumstantial on both accounts. I haven't read anything about Borderlands bugs though, so I don't know if there are fan patches to fix a bunch of bugs that the developers didn't fix.
I have never seen reviewers and /v/ cry more about bugs than when Borderlands was released.
I don't remember much of a stir at all about Fallout 3 from either party.
I've played through both more than once, and fallout 3 is riddled with bugs and places where shit just doesn't make sense.
Never had a real glitch in Borderlands, as far as I can recall.
apparently you're retarded!

Cheers.
This debate has a completely different impact because of Roph's silly gimmick.
Irock
you are my pal :)
To be fair, Bethesda doesn't exactly have a good record when it comes to fixing bugs. Even Oblivion had hundreds. That doesn't mean that the games aren't fun, though. While I do like Borderlands a lot, I get way more immersed in Bethesda games. For me, a game can have bugs, as long as they don't detract from the game's enjoyment. I can stand a broken quest or two, but I've had more crashes with Fallout 3 than any other game I've ever played. Conversely, Borderlands has never crashed once. This very well may be the opposite for many other people, but I can only judge based on my own experiences.
Borderlands' only real issue imo is that they decided gamespy was a brilliant online platform.
Otherwise I've had no real issue with either game on my computer. Both are great, Borderlands is a better FPS than Fallout 3, and Fallout 3 is a better RPG than Borderlands.
I only had a single crash while playing Borderlands. On the contrary, I've had dozens of crashes from Fallout 3 and Oblivion; morrowind never gave me any problems. The game had far to many game breaking bugs to keep me from finishing it.
Can we get back on topic to the HUGE DLC THATS INSANELY HARD
Yeah, NAMKCOR and I were trying to play it last night. Got to our first encounter and died like 11 times. Gave up after killing the first drone. :(
I might redownload the game since I'm lacking the funds to buy the game plus the expansions, but I think I'll wait till next month to see if I get some $$. This DLC looks insane, so it'll probably be worth it.
Did they add any new skills to it, or can you increase the skill levels beyond 5?

As in the laws of physics or anatomy did not apply. Not talking about plotholes.

no new skills, and class mods can increase skill levels beyond 5.

It's really hard at first, but once you gain a couple levels then it's not so bad.
Don't do what I did and start it at level 47 lol :) You should be no less than level 50 and even then you might want to wait until you're level 51, but you can't do that unless you get the DLC first, so ~

I'm waiting for like 54, that shit is hard.
Felt like I was hitting the assassins with marshmellows.
Get it while it's hot =o
Not up on Gamecopyworld etc yet.

Shit was good man. There is a (somewhat) hidden boss called crawmerax the invincible. They're not kidding on the name, you can ONLY damage him on his critical hit areas. He drops a load of weapons. In the screenshot are just the things we DIDN'T want.
I know how to use Willowtree to reset quests, we can totally farm the shit out of Crawmerax.
He respawns every time you go back there, you can just keep going =o
really? :o
I thought you had to be on the quest for it.
well cool.
Just got Borderlands and all of the DLC...My character was only level 25 or so; I'm going to use a character editor to get her back to her former self and continue were I left off.
