For some reason when I try to run RPG Maker and then test the game, my game lags like crazy. It goes at about 5 FPS to 20 FPS if I am lucky. Also another strange reason is that my friend who has a much worse computer then me, can run my same game perfectly full speed. I think I heard somewhere that DirectX 10 is the problem but I am not sure. I am on Windows 7 Ultimate and XP comparability didn't work either. Any help on how to reduce lag?
What happens if you make a new game (new project) and run that?
