Title: Resolution issue with rpg maker VX
Post by: stageico on February 09, 2010, 05:20:32 AM
I have completed my rm2k project, and so; I decided to
buy rpg maker VX. I have installed it, but the program does not start. Why?? Because of a resolution problem. VX runs on 1024x768 resolution. My monitor is capable of displaying that, BUT I am not allowed to increase beyond 1024x600. I have updated my graphics driver, but still; I am not given the option to increase my resolution.

Now, I am looking for  away around this. I have heard that there is a way to "trick" rpg maker vx into "thinking" that it is running on 1024x768 resolution. Does anyone here know how to do this, or have I wasted sixty dollars?

If there is no solution, can I get a refund?  :(
What a shame! I was so hyped.

Thanks in advance for all of those that help out in one way or another.

If possible, try to find an alternate video driver compatible with your pc. This may restore the locked resolution(s).
