Title: Red Dead Redemption
Post by: GilgameshRO on January 28, 2010, 07:14:35 PM
This game is barely even a blip on most people's radars, especially since the first game kind of bombed. Personally, I enjoyed the hell out of Red Dead Revolver, and I am totally stoked from Red Dead Redemption. It looks only about 80 billion times more awesome.

The first game was rather linear and everything was instanced, but the gameplay was fun and the characters and story were exciting. It's hard to say it was a good game. This game looks a lot more solid, and if it keeps the energy of the first game I'm sure it will be amazing.

Eh, I find it hard to be hyped about sandbox games anymore. They're not all that different from eachother, really. Jack of all trades, master of none type gameplay. Repetitive quests/challenges.

It's just a whole bunch of novelty, in my opinion.
