EVERY DREAM THEATER ALBUM
POGO \(O_o)/ (http://www.last.fm/music/Pogo)
Downloaded Pogo, I'm diggin it. Working on Black Clouds and Silver Lining, because that's the only Dream Theater album I like.
What, how do you not like Scenes from a Memory and Images and Words and Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence? ;_;

Oh my, you certainly are productive.
So has anyone here heard of Ed Allenyne-Johnson? He writes neo-classical stuff played by an electric violin. It's pretty badass.

Here's a link to his album.
Protest The Hero
The Reign of Kindo
The Dear Hunter
A Wilhelm Scream
Closure In Moscow

Yeah, first time I heard them I loved it. Pretty unique too. Jon Crosby writes pretty much everything, so you can check out his solo work too (but it's all just him and a classical guitar)
You could try some Puscifer too, Maynard James Keenan's side project.
If you are into rap: The Sugarhill Gang, Common, Swollen Members, The Roots.
Metal: Nevermore, Kamelot, Metallica.
Post Metal / Post Rock: Red Sparowes, Russian Circles, Jakob, Silver Mt. Zion, Godspeed You Black Emperor!
Pop: Bic Runga, Simply Red.
well i enjoy
disturbed, seether, acdc, pink floyd, system of a down
don't know if you do... but if your looking to download more music...
New Endless Sporadic album just came out. I recommend it.
I have no idea what kind of music you like, but I'm going to make suggestions anyway, excluding obvious ones like Beatles, Radiohead, etc:
Wintersleep
Belle & Sebastian
Broken Social Scene
Sonic Youth
Arcade Fire
Wilco
Wolf Parade
Ohbijou

Already got Protest, Dear Hunter, and Closure in Moscow.
I pretty much burned out on Reign of Kindo first month I had their EP. I'll try them again soon. Checking out Wilhelm Scream.
Also new Endless Sporadic album? IT SHALL BE MINE.

Frohe Weihnachten

If you go with Das nenen, then go with their early stuff. They added all they random stupid things to their music.
Did you ever hear Valient Thorr? You might be into them.

Yeah I heard Fall of Pangea out of Guitar Hero, givin these guys a download too, thanks Holk :)
Get He Is Legend - I Am Hollywood
That's one of my favorite albums of all time. Their other stuff isn't so good, but that album. Man.
Try going with some pandora or last.fm radio and figure out new music by hearing it first. (:
Yeah, I recently lost my music collect too. I'd go with Anski's suggestion, since you can't top Pandora and to a lesser extent, Last.Fm for finding new music.
Indie:
The Fratellis are a great band, they're kind of like Franz Ferdinand.
Kasabian is pretty good.
Ben Folds Five are good, and Ben Folds is also pretty good solo.
The Strokes I'm sure you've heard of, but I thought it's worth mentioning.
Andrew Bird would also be worth checking out.
Reverend and the Makers is okay, I like one of their songs a lot and the rest not very much.
Electronic:
Black Strobe is pretty good, I've only heard one of their songs TBH though, but they're like Hard Rock/Electronic.
Plastilina Mosh, some of their songs are Heavy Metal and some are more poppy electronica stuff.
The Asteroid's Galaxy Tour are super awesome, they were featured in an ipod touch commercial a while back.
Citizen Cope is pretty good, they're Chilled Out.
Alt:
G. Love and the Special Sauce is pretty sweet, they're Blues Rock.
Cage the Elephant is a really good newish band, they did the theme for Borderlands.
Jazz:
The Seatbelts, they did the Cow Boy Bebop music.
Dave Brubeck Quartet, if you don't like Time Out there's definitely something wrong with you. >:|
Metal/Rock:
The Darkness is a glam metal band, pretty awesome.
Prog:
Peter Gabriel should go without saying.
Genesis should also go without saying.
New Trolls, they're a Symphonic Prog Rock band, reminds me a lot of ELO.
My favorites are ELO, Talking Heads and Traveling Wilburys. Talking Heads have a much wider sound than Once in a Lifetime and Burning Down the House. Seriously recommend listening to an entire album straight.
I am tired and running out of bands to list, but I hope that helps! :)
